“Very helpful reception staff - first class! Room was clean but smelled of cigarette smoke (even though it was a non smoking room). ”

“The room was wonderful, the view was wonderful. We ate dinner at the hotel and that was also wonderful. The road up to the hotel was steep and long—about 20 minutes—but it was a proper, good road. Good parking.”

“We had a wonderful stay. The wine tasting was very enjoyable. Hospitality was great.”

“The house and room was immaculate and the the hosts were very kind and thoughtful. I hope to go again.”

“A big thank you to everyone at Alaia Lodge for such a warm welcome. We came here on a father/son golf trip we had wanted to do for many years and we chose to stay at Alaia because of its convenient walking distance to the golf course, and it proved to be a wonderful choice. Everyone at Alaia was so friendly and welcoming and this was...

“Beautifully renovated small hotel originally built in the 60s. Beds we're comfortable, breakfast was delicious and views out the balcony were magnificent! We stayed two nights. It was a great place to stay for our day trip to Zermatt.”

“The staff were really helpful, I was going to arrive late and no one would be at reception but they provided full info on where my room key would be and how to access it. During my stay they couldn't have been more helpful everytime I asked for info. Rooms cleaned everyday and mini toblerones on your bed, yum yum. I saw maintenance ongoing, which is positive, at least they didn't ignore faults in the hotel and keep going while trying to maximise profit at customers expense like many hotel...
