“It’s a castle! It’s out of this world amazing!!”

“Todo estuvo muy bien!!! Llegamos tarde y ya no daban de cenar pero nos ofrecieron unos sándwich de jamón y queso con ensalada mientras disfrutabamos de la música en vivo en el bar! La habitación era enorme, el baño nuevo y las camas muy cómodas. Hay ascensor para subir a la planta alta.”

“WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. ”

“I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help.”

“If I could rate our stay higher I would. Everything was exceptional. The people who operate the lodge are kind, helpful, and just all around awesome. They let us store our bags ahead of check-in and hangout in the common area post check out. The room itself was super clean. Awesome spot, good value and vibes. We'll 100% stay here again, highly recommend.”

“The bed was super comfortable which was fantastic after a few days of hiking the beautiful sites near Sligo. The bathroom even had a clothes line to hang dry our clothes on. Dining in the restaurant was superb and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only regret is that we never used the plush housecoats they had for us in the room. Those were a nice bonus!”

The rooms were very comfortable, and nothing was too much trouble when we needed assistance. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would happily stay here again.”

“We got a warm welcome from the staff at reception when we arrived which set the scene for a lovely relaxed stay. Our room was clean, well equipped, quiet with a nice view of the garden. We had a nice evening meal in the bar restaurant with excellent service and our breafast was all we could wish for. Wish we were able have stayed a bit longer. Will definitely be back. ”

“Room cold and decor needs to be upgraded. Breakfast mediocre. Evening meal was incredible as was spa. Some small tweaks would have made a huge difference. Staff were lovely. ”

“Lovely property but getting to rooms difficult and very small elevator. Asked for help with luggage and all he did was bring up trolley. We are 4 seniors. Dinner in hotel lovely but need more experienced help. She was only about 16 and couldn’t answer any questions nor figure out how to do two bills. A hotel of this quality needs better staff”
