Perfect place for weekend getaway
Perfect little place, cute clean and comfy. Staff was so friendly. Great beach and fire pits, great views, a lot of space to hang out. Perfect location for a home base for a trip to Door County. I can’t wait to stay here again next time we visit.

We had a very enjoyable stay and were very happy with the rooms! Owners are friendly and put the extra touches into everything that makes it feel like a deluxe resort. Windows in the rooms are large and make for a beautiful view of Lake Michigan.Would definetly recommend and will stay there on our next visit to Door County.

#205 was an excellent suite with great views and amenities. The staff were friendly and the firepits at night to hang out were a blast. First time at this property but I can see a return stay in the future.

I was a little put off when we drove up because it looked like the 60s but it was all modern and clean with great views and good breakfast. I would recommend it.

Water is metallic and yellow.
The room was so quaint; perfect for what we needed. Sadly, the water was yellow and tasted like metal. The shower smelled like metal. If it weren’t for that, I would have been completely content with the room. Had I known in advance, I would have brought my own water in. Even the coffee made in our room was metallic. I couldn’t drink it.

Hi Jennifer, thank you for staying with us. Our water is from a well. There is no chlorinated city water here....It tastes more metallic due to having no chlorine in the water yet is perfectly safe to drink. We do provide bottled water also, please ask.

Great little motel on the water in Baileys Harbour. Clean, comfortable, and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Our stay was amazing!! Room was decorated in a beach theme and was so clean and comfortable. The fire on the beach was a perfect way to end the day! Great continental breakfast with fresh fruit and delicious pastries. My only regret was not spending our entire vacation at this property. The staff were all so friendly and helpful! We can’t wait to come back!

The location is amazing - my favorite part of the day was getting coffee and breakfast from the common area and then sitting on the porch or the beach chairs watching the sun on the water. Great hotel!

We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The Beachfront Inn was SO dog-friendly. We had the pool and beach to ourselves on a Saturday, and it was wonderful. Nothing ever felt crowded, as it's a small motel. It has been remodeled tastefully, the rooms are simple and small (duh) but they worked really well for us. There were 2 adults, a golden retriever, and a 4 year-old in a room w/ a king-size bed. The convenience to everything in Bailey's Harbor is unmatched, especially Chives and the food trucks there. HIGHLY recommend!

It was our first time staying there and it did not disappoint from the friendliness of the front desk to our room which looked like it had just been remodeled recently had a nautical decor which we really liked to the beautiful view of Lake Michigan they also have Restaurants within walking distance would highly recommend this hotel

Perfekte Lage direkt am eigenen Strand mit schöner Veranda und Garten zum Sitzen. Zimmer war sehr sauber, Bett top, Bad neu renoviert. Wir hatten ein kleines Buchungsproblem und wären beinahe nicht untergekommen, aber die Dame an der Rezeption hat mit Hilfe der Managerin ein Zusatzbett aufgetrieben. Wir waren absolut begeistert über dieses unkonventionelle Entgegenkommen! Wir würden unbedingt wiederkommen!

The back patio and beach are beautiful! Staff is very nice also. Pool is nice. Continental breakfast is good but coffee was always out if you got there after 8:30 am. The evening bonfire on the beach was great! We didn’t realize that there was no daily housekeeping so we had to empty garbage cans, ask for clean towels and tp when needed. When we used pull out bed at night, no one could get to the bathroom because you could not walk past the bed. No room to walk. Local shops and ice cream store closed for the season or closed on Tuesday - Friday. We were there in late July! Did not understand that! It was hard to find a restaurant for family dining that was open during the week. Had to drive to Fish Creek, Sister Bay and Egg Harbor to find places to shop.

Thank you for staying with us at the Beachfront, I'm glad you found our staff was kind and you enjoyed the facility. Housekeeping is done daily by request as stated on your paperwork and told to you at check in with a sheet that also reminds of you this. Also, if you have any questions about housekeeping any of our staff can assist you. All restaurants/shops have 1 day a week they are closed for staff to have a day off. They rotate throughout the week so all the restaurants are not closed on the same day. They all coordinate with each other. No shops or restaurants are closed for the season....I did some research on this and found all of them in our community are open. I'm sorry you did not enjoy the community of Baileys Harbor, everyone here does work very hard to provide a great environment for our travelers.

This was an older motel which was fairly update. Staff was very good. Our room #208 was very small and basic. Not a high end place at all, but the location was very good. Not the best but it was OK.

You chose our smallest, most cost effective room which we do not hide that it is small (in the room description). It does offer an option for those who just want a place to sleep that still has everything they need while they explore the beauty of Door County. The lower cost of this room also reflects this. The room was very comfortable and the continental breakfast had really yummy pastries and quality foods. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They set up a fire for us on the beach and then gave us all the fixings for s'mores! Our 3 year old was in heaven. They have kayaks available for use too right off the beach. We will definitely stay again. We had a perfect time.

Excellent quaint stay on the quiet side of Door County. My husband and I loved our stay. Quiet mornings overlooking the beautiful Lake with a cup a DC coffee and fresh donut or scone. Opportunity to kayak or paddle board in the am and real camp fire at night right on beach. The special touches from the owners made all the difference. 💕
