"The hotel was old but on the whole well kept, but our room was small the window was frosted over so no view and only open a couple of inches. The bed was a very small double bed. On the plus side the staff were excellent and friendly. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection."

"Excellent, friendly service from all the staff. The hotel was a long walk along the front from the ferry terminal but taxis were available outside on the street in front of the port. Very nice breakfast each morning which offered porridge, kippers and boiled eggs to order as well as cereal, pastries and full English. "Lovely, friendly and polite staff. Fire door banging next to our room all first night which kept us awake. Informed staff next morning and it was sorted out by the afternoon. Tired decor considering it was the executive luxury room. Bed wasn’t the best to sleep on. Breakfast was good, again, really attentive staff."

"staff friendly room clean and serviced every day only problem kitchen extract exhaust finished by the window which although was locked shut did not seal It came on at 6am and room smelt of breakfast and later on until around midnight it smelt of malaysian food for that reason I would not stay there again"

Fantastic location and large room for family.
"We stayed in the family suite with 2 twins and one king bed. Very beautiful room with high ceilings and large bathroom. Great for our family of 3 adults. Location was fantastic and a quick walk to the main road, nice walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very nice bar and restaurant. We had a great breakfast every morning. The chef and hostesses were very accommodating and pleasant to talk with. We were able to get into our room early as we arrived on a very early flight. We really appreciated the ability to check in early, since the room was ready. We loved our location and would highly recommend. "
