“Before I review the hotel proper let me just say Lamego is a really cool town and this hotel is an upscale place from which to explore it. The staff were excellent. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and parking was in a secure underground parking area. “Such a wonderful slice of heaven. Definitely visit this property. The staff were fantastic & so helpful. A bottle of sparkling wine at the pool was €18 and absolutely delicious. The breakfast omelette was delightful, the dinner was delicious. The pool was sensational, such a lovely place to be. Book it! We had a vineyard suite, the Manor House ones seemed further away. ”

I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for...
