“Beautiful resort”

“This place is stunning, simply put. They thought of everything - none of the details were missed. Hairdryer in room, spacious bathrooms and spotless rooms, lovely breakfast included. The views, flowers, sounds of birds and refreshing pool are what makes this a special place. Very close to train station in Regua, with lots of restaurants close by.”

“Aquí lo más hermoso son las vistas. Se puede meter a la alberca pero no hay servicio ahí. Uno tiene que pedir en el lobby. Pero se entiende porque es un lugar a cargo de una familia y entre todos ayudan. El menú es caro a mi parecer, pero estuvo rico. Lo malo es que es lo único que hay alrededor para comer.”

“Everything was amazing. Staff was cooperative. View was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Restaurant was great. Very nice food. Only one draw back was Expedia did not mentioned in room description that there were 80 + steps to climb to go to family rooms. But staff helped us go up and down in golf cart which they said they do not do normally. I would come again for view and great service they provided. My therapeutical massage was cherry on top. “Superbe emplacement avec une vue imprenable sur le Douro — tout simplement magnifique. Les chambres ainsi que les espaces partagés sont immaculés. On a vraiment l’impression d’être dans un petit B&B chaleureux plutôt que dans un grand hôtel, ce qui rend l’expérience très conviviale et reposante. L’endroit est aussi très bien situé, à environ 15 minutes en voiture de Peso da Régua, où l’on trouve plusieurs excellents petits restaurants. “LBV did not disappoint. It was very close to all the vineyards we wanted to visit. The pool was very refreshing at the end of the day. The rooms are very comfortable and spectacular views. The shower pressure was also great. The breakfast buffet was very varied and delicious. Even had gluten free bread upon request. I would highly recommend staying here.”

The room does not have a mini fridge so while searching for a place to store two bottles of beer and lunch food I was told I cannot bring my own food here to make sandwiches for a lunch nor can I drink my two beers on their property because they supply and make their own wine and beer (and expect us to buy their product). “Beautiful and interesting place to stay! Wonderful history to it. The place was very clean and the staff were excellent - helpful and friendly (one staff member remembered our room number on only our second morning for breakfast!). The room we stayed in was very basic but clean. Highlights were the excellent breakfast and cool architecture of the building.”

“Beautiful Quinta perched on a hill above the Douro River. Rooms were nice, and the breakfast and particularly dinner were excellent. We also did the wine tasting in the store.”
