“We were visiting Hidcote gardens and Suedly Castle so this hotel was a great choice. The view from the hotel was lovely there were plenty of parking spaces. Everywhere was nice and clean but could do with a bit of decorating. The staff were lovely and breakfast was good”

“Pub was really nice - lively atmosphere good food/drink and the staff were fantastic. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. Loved outdoor area as well very close to Stratford upon Avon. Our rooms were well appointed, had everthing we needed, although could have been a little cleaner, but this was very quickly resolved. Only issue was noise in our bedroom, as we were above the bar and noise from a busy main road.”

“Photo in the Hotels.com emails is not this hotel! On arrival there were no tea making facilities in the room, but this was provided on request. The TV was unable to receive many channels, including BBC1 and BBC2. There was no shaver point.”

“Check in took a while as it was later in the evening and had to order dinner as I was checking in a the kitchen was closing. Otherwise it was a good stay in a very pleasant room”

“Our second stay at the Mug House. Location is fabulous right next to the river Severn. The in house restaurant is very good and there is also a pizza oven located in the beer garden for a less formal dining experience. Rooms are quaint rather than luxurious with period features, oak beams and fireplaces. Bed was very comfortable. We will no doubt be staying there again in the future.”

“We stayed in Aragon for 2 nights when attending a wedding nearby. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable but could do with a few tweaks this did not mar our stay. However the food both at breakfast and evening was excellent with breakfast being outstanding. The property is period and as such is always going to have its niggles. Thank you for a lovely stay ”

“Great stay especially as we had a dog with us. This place is extremely dog friendly and whilst clean the room was not too posh for us to worry about the dog being in the room. The food was excellent! Would highly recommend.”
