Did you phone in a reservation, or make it through a booking site? We strongly urge guests to either call the hotel directly, or to book through Expedia, or our website, as these are our only official sites. We cannot guarantee any bookings by "off-brand" sites who are not associated with us. Our operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you plan to arrive late, please advise staff, in advance, so you can have access to your cabin. You must not have entered our cabins, as we just completed remodels on ALL cabin interiors just weeks ago. Perhaps you have us confused with a hotel of a similar name?

We check messages daily while staff is attending to cabins. Leave a message, so we can return your call. We do not sit at the desk all day. We have cabins to clean, lawn to attend to, laundry to wash, dry, and fold, and guests to attend to. Please leave a message when you call and we will get back with you!

YIPES! What cabin were you in, what is your first name, and what day did you stay with us. We will correct this immediately!

There is a manager on site, several staff on site at all times, in fact. There are numbers to call on the front door that are our cell phone numbers, if we are in the laundry room or attending to a guest. We DID recently terminate a housekeeper who was not cleaning up to our standards, and can assure you our current housekeeping staff is cleaning to our CDC standards. We do have fans available for guests, at their request, which provide a nice cool breeze at night when windows are opened. Please ask for one!

MMMmmm. All our doors are self-locking and lock when you shut the cabin door. Daylight between the slats of what? We just finished renovations on all bathrooms, and have new curtains and new quilts. The log cabins were built in the 1940's and we advertise as having a rustic cabin experience. We have modern ammenities of flat screen televisions, coffee makers, fridges, microwaves. If you do not want an authentic western cabin experience, then Jackson offers hotels that are "brand name" which we encourage you to stay at. Folks who stay here are wanting a cabin to stay in.

Dear Traveller, You are correct that our hours of operation are until 9 p.m., after 9 p.m., our front office is closed. When guests inform us in advance of late arrivals, we make accomodations to ensure they can access their cabins after hours. Additionally, there are two cell phone numbers available in emergencies. As a small mom and pop run hotel, we go out of our way to ensure the safety of our guests, making every reasonable accomodation possible. One phone number goes to voice mail after 9 p.m., with the other two being cell numbers We have recently renovated the interior of our cabins, whihc you did not see, and are working on outside renovations, as well. We advise guests arriving outside of normal business hours to inform us of late arrivals, and provide two additional phone numbers for emergencies. Reservations are non-refundable and we do not allow for cancellations. We do wish you had utilized the cell phone numbers, as we would have readily assisted you. Check-in times are from 3 pm -9 pm, and we make every effort to assist guests who inform us of late arrivals, as well as providing emergency contact numbers.

We are not sure what cabin you stayed in, and wish you had informed us of whatever you were dissatisfied with upon arrival, and we would have either given you another cabin, or corrected what was wrong. We had no complaint from a guest on the date of your stay, so we have no way of addressing this further. Please contact us with more information.

We appreciated your calls several times in the middle of the night to inform us that someone was knocking on your cabin door. Unfortunately, when we went to investigate who was disturbing our guests, we could find no locked out guests or anyone needing assistance. We remain puzzled by whomever might have been knocking on doors. We have never had an issue like this before, and did all we could to address your phone calls. There was simply nobody outside the cabins needing to be let into their cabin when we investigated. We do appreciate your phone calls. WE spent several hours watching the property after your call ensuring the safety of our guests, but nobody was disturbing guests, and there was no one locked out. We were likely in cabins, the laundry room or attending to the needs of other guests during your phone calls to obtain your keys. Thank you for your patience. Staff will be discussing your specific incident wtih the proprietor, as we have never had an incident of an alleged guest disturbing another guest by stating they were locked out. Due to the late hours of your phone calls informing us, we suspect that whomever knocked on your door was NOT a guest of the hotel. Rest assured we will be taking steps of action to establish a protocol should such an issue arise again.

We just finished renovating all of our bathrooms a few weeks ago, have renovated beds, beddings, and bathroom floors as well since your stay. We do have up to date smoke detectors in all cabins. If you had let us know you had concerns we would have addressed them or moved you to a different cabins. Our phone numbers are on the door if we are in the laundry room or elsewhere on the property. Unfortunately, the site you booked through is a site that people often have problems with. We have no control over what they do on their site and what they guarantee and don't guarantee. We recommend you call the hotel directly, use our website, or go through expedia directly, as those are the only sites we have any control over. Had you done so, you would know that the front office closes at 9 p.m., and if you are planning to arrive late, you need to notify us in advance so we can make accomodations for you. We never recommend the site you used, as we are not contracted with them and have no control over what they do or say, and often what they do and say do not match our policies clearly stated on our official sites. We just finished renovating our cabins two weeks ago, bathrooms are all fully renovated, we have new flat screen televisions, and flooring has been renovated as well, with some entries still in process.
