“Beautiful and peaceful place to rest. This place was so fun to visit with great walking paths with pooch Magnolia escorting us along the way and meeting the cows were a special treat. We even saw the Howler Monkeys in the trees by the river. Host Dominic was interesting to talk with especially telling us the history of the family farm.”

“Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time.”

The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and getting some sun. We even made use of the full-size BBQ by the pool one night. “The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. ”
