“All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast hot and cold buffet (extra) was excellent. Gluten-free options available. ”

“Our stay was ok for what we paid. The room was clean but had no air conditioning, which in the heat wave was a bit uncomfortable. A fridge in the room would have been good. Breakfast was decent and they have a Starbucks onsite which was great. The staff were friendly and overall I would say it was value for money.”

“This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!”

“No reception or staff to greet you which was not an issue, I was emailed and messaged clear details of how to enter the property and my room. Car park at the side of the property was available and free to use. Spacious room and en suite. Room had a slight musty smell, difficult to have window open as near a busy room. When shut it is however quiet. Would I book again, yes. ”

“Mijn 2de keer dat ik heb een overnachting geboekt hier. Mooi schoon kamers. Geweldig pub met lokaal bieren. Geweldig eigenaar en medewerkers. Heel vriendelijke lokale mensen en 5 minuten lopen van het stad centrum. Engels ontbijt van de hoogste niveau voor 9 1/2 pond. Mooi beer garden en gratis parkeren voor gasten. Top top locatie en niet duur.”

“Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend ..”

“This is the third time I've stayed here and honestly every time it gets worse. The hotel is beautiful and the location convinient. But thats all.... I came down for breakfast at 9am (breakfast is surved until 10am) and there was barely anything left, no joices, no milk couple of slices of bread,no tea bags. And there was a table reserved for 20 people so they knew that they had a lot of people coming for breakfast still. I was sat down for 30 minutes at no point did they bring anything new...

“My second stay here. A really good place to stay with a great Italian restaurant attached. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Free parking too. A nice pub down the road selling a great pint of ale. Dartmouth Park is close by and lovely to walk around. Bus and tram stop about 20 mins walk away to easy access in to Birmingham or Wolverhampton and they run late so you can have a nice night out and get back to hotel without a worry. ”

“During checkout, the alarm in the room would not stop ringing. We wanted to extend our stay by one more night, and we had already informed Quinn that he would add an extra night for us. However, Nicolas did not even wait a few minutes before making a new online reservation for another night. The customer service was catastrophic.”
