at this hotel. The pool is of decent size and

. Breakfast was better quality on the first day, maybe use different chefs, but still decent enough the second day. Hotel is in a good location with St Andrews and Scottish deer centre a short drive away. Staff are friendly and polite, I’ll definitely stay here again due to its location and good value for money."

"The staff were lovely and very polite, however the hotel is so old and shabby and in desperate need of refurbishment. The

and adults bed would be good! It was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on so couldn’t wait to leave. The carpets are threadbare and taped up, looked ridiculous. Mould in the bathrooms which were so outdated. The breakfast wasn’t great, cheap ingredients. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again!"

"Stayed for one night in room 6 with our dogs. Found room large and suitable for us with the dogs also. Went to restaurant in hotel for meal and was able to take dogs there also which is good. "The food was lovely though a little slow, the staff were very helpful. Only one very small thing was that we were in late after a concert and one of the wee reading lights wouldn't turn off. We didn't notify reception at the time as it was late and needed our bed. In the morning at check out we let reception know and the staff were very apologetic and offered us free coffee or tea to take away. Couldn't fault the service at reception."
