We had a friendly welcome to the hotel and enjoyed our over night stay. The hotel is a grand old lady which. Is dated but well maintained. Our compact room had good views over the Tay and was well equipped. The bed was comfy and the shower pressure was excellent. The breakfast had a good selection and I like getting a pot of coffee. It made a good base for seeing Dundee.

Great parking available. Disappointed in food, the year before i could stay in hotel for a meal, as a lone traveller this was my preferred option, however they no longer serve meals in the eatery. Room information is oit of date as it promotes the eatery. Breakfast was supposed to be from menu, however was buffet with food uncovered and served in salad tins sitting on a hot plate. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We loved this hotel. It was so charming, loved the history, the high ceilings were delightful, as was the classic feel, accessible in all the ways-parking lot, lift. Loved the views of the city, breakfast was fantastic, AJ at the desk and Lorine in the restaurant were lovely. Only wished there were more friendly family restaurants in the immediate area.

The Queens is a beautiful historic building. The rooms were very tidy and fitted with new reliable plumbing. I did not know anything about the location when I booked room, but I am glad that I had the opportunity to visit and learn a little about the history of Scotland through this unique location.
