“Stay away from this property! I honestly don’t know how this lodge got its 4 stars. The way this lodge treats its guests is not worth even one star. We were given a shabby room, which clearly used to be a shed before. The parking space is so narrow that a taxi was asked to park within 30 cm from the door opening to our room, which implied that my family had to squeeze themselves through the opening. The management was immediately notified but ignored my wife’s request to move the taxi. Only when...

“It was a nice stay, i can recommend it to other people.”

“Personnel au top et chambre propre”

“A small, intimate and immaculate establishment - like your own little villa! Not only was the breakfast (hot and cold) awesome, but it was the extra little touches that made an impression. For example: Although there was no restaurant for lunch & dinner, picnic tables, a microwave, plates, utensils and condiments were provided for guests' "bring-their-own-meal" use, little cookies daily with the in-room tea/coffee facilities, an honesty bar area, with an ice-maker, I could go on! “Great New find. Loved this little haven literally 5 mins walk from the beach through what felt like a door to a secret garden. Thank you.”

“I stayed at Southey House for two nights and it was a very nice stay. The room was clean and spacious and had a refrigerator and water, coffee and tea. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, oats, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice and varm duvet. The room however was a bit cold the whole time (in beginning of July), so when staying in the room it was best to stay in bed. The guesthouse is located in a safe and there...

“Comfortable. Clean. Quiet. Perfect”

“Noisy neighbors into multiple nights and all Kim the manager Kim did was complain to me! Place needs lots of updating. They forgot to clean my room one day and offered no concessions.”
