The location was great, not too far from the centre or the attractions but nice and quiet. Only had breakfast once but it was delicious. Everything was clean and we had all we needed. Definitely will be booking again when we can ”

“I needed a one night stay before my flight. Although not an ensuite i had a bathroom along the corridor to myself. Host was very friendly and informative, helped with all my airport access questions. Excellent value for money, and only an 8 minute flat walk away from the airport. Yes some bits are a bit tired, but for the price paid excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again when flying from Newcastle Airport. ”

“Our stay at Burnhopeside Hall was one of our most memorable ever. Christine, our hostess, was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious and the surroundings could not have been more grand. This is a stately old home, full of beautiful furniture and dishes, near sheep pastures and the river. While there, we walked the yard and fields behind the house, went down to the river, accompanied by Barney and Spencer (the Burnhopeside dogs!). Breakfast was delicious and elegantly presented.
