“I arrived early to a super friendly host. Was invited into an open lounge for the quests with a roaring real fire . Offered refreshments and then shown to my room for the night. . Cannot fault the whole experience from start finish . Real home made breakfast, just a lovely environment , and a very good price I would have paid more for this . Thanks again to the host she was super lovely .My only regret is not spending more time there. ”

“A fantastic stay and fully equipped family room with comfort and sophistication. The girls loved the very strong and sturdy bunk beds as well as the chaise longue by the window. Location is perfect, 10 min walk to the Amusements and beach. Breakfast was first class and cooked to perfection! Thank you for a great stay, we would most certainly recommend and return. ”

“The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!! Would happily stay here again when visiting the area as it’s a perfect little...
