“Beautiful hotel even looking through storm Claudia! The food was first class in the restaurant with some of the best chicken I've tasted. The room was lovely and little touches like light coming on when you opened the cupboard & a night light in the bathroom added to the stay. Bed was soft and comfortable. Very pleasant stay with lovely staff and if we ever go up that was again, definitely high on our list to stay: just hope the weather is better :-)”

“Lovely stay overall. Room was cosy and comfortable. Had a good sleep. Only issue we had was that the room was slightly cold. Staff were excellent and responded by controlling the temperature of the room from their side and this definitely helped. They also supplied an oil radiator but this didnt work unfortunately.”

“We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”

“Fantastic last minute stay and so reasonably priced. Spa/Pool facilities were great. No Jacuzzi but the hot beds were a treat and very dark and relaxing atmosphere. Room was a nice size. Stunning view from our window. Would definitely return ”

“I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! This level of attention to detail continued throughout my stay and nothing was too much trouble. The food served on the premises was cooked to a high...
