"I *loved* this place. The pool area was clean and the hot tub felt amazing. The pond area behind the hotel was very peaceful. The breakfast was super delicious, especially the strawberry waffles. The sausage gravy needed salt, but they have shakers there. They also have chocolate milk and Greek yogurt…super tasty! The lobby has a beautiful dining table to eat at, and a wonderful fireplace with comfortable arm chairs. I am not exaggerating when I say I plan to stay here for all my San Diego trips. I don’t even care that I’d have to drive like half an hour into the city. Haha. This place is wonderful, and I love the small mountain town vibe of the community. Stay here! Do it! 😅"

"Staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were ok, mattress was VERY firm and blanket/sheets/towels were rough... Paid a lot for just ok value… But stay was fine. AC worked well. Smelled a little funny. Parking was easy."
