"Where to start… the door to our room didn’t lock electronically. We told the front desk about this, but they said they would send somebody up in the morning. Then when we went to go to bed, we shut off the hall light and it actually did not shut off so the light was on light as well. The maintenance man came up the next day and he was very, very nice and fixed electronic lock and also removed the lightbulb from the hall so we wouldn’t have to switch rooms at that point. Meanwhile, it was super hot in our room all three days and nights, because apparently this hotel does not turn on the air until a certain time of the year. The elevators were complete shambles and wouldn’t bring us to our room and I got motion sickness, three times from writing in the elevator for many minutes at a time just trying to get to my floor or my friends floor. It was very frustrating. The rules around the rooftop are weird and annoying. At one point my spouse got in the elevator and it stopped on a floor and a cleaner got on and he said the elevator is going down when she pressed an higher level and she goes… oh. And then uses her key card to make it go up. Like, what the? Also conditioner item in shower was totally empty, there was hair on the shower wall that wasn’t ours and some sort of curios stain on the shower curtain. The hotel is beautiful and great location though. The attention to details and great service is missing."

"We stay here whenever we’re in town to visit our son (a student at UW). It’s a 7 min drive to campus (worse in rush hour), and offers more services for the price than the hotels “on campus”. Everything is clean. I watched them cleaning a room near ours, and they are THOROUGH. Breakfast is good, and they vary the egg dish daily (cheese omelette, scrambled egg, little pepper omelettes, etc). They have a happy hour Mon-Wed with free beer/wine and a food offering. Pool and hot tub are fine, fitness area is 24h and reasonably well appointed, and they have FREE laundry!!! I rode my bike from here- easy to get to the BG or Green Lake. Recommend!"

"The staff were friendly, The facilities are clean and in good condition. There is parking on site ( for a fee) and we had a kitchen in our room which is convenient . It’s located within walking distance of campus and public transportation."

"During check in the staff was so friendly and nice. I enjoyed it! Parking garage was serving, I felt safe at all times. Room was very comfortable and clean. Grandson enjoyed the pool also. "
