The hotel is decorated with high-end art pieces and provides a calming Zen experience from beginning to end. The staff were all very hospitable and helpful - the only aberration was we found a baby stroller in the room after our return from a side trip, and we did not ask for it. The WiFi signal was patchy. The front entrance, library and cafeteria were gorgeous. The hotel is in a valley - the best experience was to see the lights come on the adjacent mountains. Our balcony was large - we...

A beautiful heritage property located in a walkable, partial steep walk to pedestrianised shopping area with bars and restaurants, amazing views all around. Expect minor property age related issues and facilities.
Excellent service from local based employees. Good food and lovely and friendly people.

We had an amazing 2 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a very quiet part of town near the Secretariat building and across the street from the former king’s palace complex. We were told that the building was a guest house for royal guests. The building has 5 floors and each floor has 4-5 rooms, all with a view of the mountains. We stayed at the top floor with access to the terrace. Be aware that there is no elevator. The staff was very friendly and nice. There are no eating places nearby...

The lobby is really beautiful with breath taking view of d valley and d hills.
Hotel staff is good. There continental food is not good. But d Indian cuisine is tasty.
One hurdle is its distance from d main town. So one should be ready to shell out Rs. 400 every time they want to make a round trip to MY
road and back. The hotel hardly provides its own car for d same.
Overall if u want to take fresh air and keep to d serenity then this is one of d best place to stay.

Clean rooms and friendly staff! Away from center so it was little difficult to find cab. Room heaters charged separately but were not big enough to keep the room warm.

The staff were incredibly helpful, from arranging taxis to suggesting great places to visit. The food was truly authentic and delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind.

The staff was excellent. They helped bring my clothes back and forth to a laundry, cooked breakfast, catch a cab upon departure, and Marie’s my bags up and down the stairs. I Opted for a room with a view and it was with every penny.
