"I absolutely loved this property! The owners have preserved it's historic nature while updating and making it so comfortable. The common areas (complete with an elegant chess set!) were my favorite. But there were so many little details like bathrobes, real cloth shower curtains, etc.
I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in the area!"
"The grounds are beautiful and a great first impression. However, spiderwebs cling to all the pretty river rocks. We had stained dirty sheets that the front desk was unconcerned about and there was a hole in the ceiling.
We ate in the restaurant with beautiful views, but the food was served cold.
Overall, the views are spectacular but they missed the mark on several occasions."
"We really enjoyed our stay here. I am a light sleeper and based on reviews about there being some noise I requested a room on the second floor. They gave us the room furthest from the road on the second floor which was more than I’d asked!
Overall the place was cute, clean, roomy, and felt safe. We walked a couple of blocks into town for dinner each night and got a discount at the 1188 pub because we stayed here.
My only complaint is the shower looked stained/not very clean - and the rubber...
