Eastern Townships, Quebec hotel rooms at the Independent

"We are a family of 5 that stayed for four nights. The staff at this hotel were fantastic! Especially Martin, who drives the shuttle and assists guests at the door. The shuttle will take you to and from the ski hill or anywhere else in Bromont you wish to go, which was great. The staff were very responsive anytime we needed anything. We really loved the outdoor hot tubs, and the exercise room was clean and well equipped. The rooms are a bit dated and the carpet and furniture in our room was showing its age. The sofa bed mattresses really need replacing. The soundproofing in the room wasn't great so when we had noisy neighbours next to us we were very aware of it, but the hotel staff addressed it right away when we asked. The restaurants in the hotel are quite expensive, so we went into town for our meals. Overall, a great experience and we would stay again! "

"Manoir Hovey is a decadent get away. The rooms, the spa, the staff - everything is perfection. Beautiful linens, fresh flowers everywhere , it’s like you’re in a beautiful large home. Very comfortable! The food is on another level. Most appropriate for adults and or teen children. "

"I was shocked to have to pay for parking (16$ per day) in the middle of nowhere !!!! And no breakfast free because I did book trough Hotels.com !!!"

"Accommodations were good. A few maintenance jobs needed considering price you pay. I.e. shower door didn’t close properly, exterior door hard to close, indoor furniture not comfortable. Did not like being told to clean up and sweep, do dishes etc. after paying over 300$ a night. Feel like that should have been taken care of by facility. "
