El servicio muy bueno y las condiciones del hotel también. La habitación muy amplia, aunque se veía que limpiaban sólo por encima. El personal estuvo siempre muy atento a lo que necesitamos y muy amable. El desayuno rico aunque no muy variado. En general la experiencia fue buena, salvo porque el internet era extremadamente deficiente. Nos dijeron que era lento porque todos los huéspedes se conectaban a la misma hora (después de los tours) y se saturaba, pero en realidad esto sucedía a todas horas.

The place is away from the busy downtown, but close enough to drive or walk to.The beds were comfortable.We had a good view of the lake, too.

Great place to spend some time!
I stayed here for about a week, it was great. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. Comfortable bed and amazing views. It was quiet and relaxing and just a short walk from the main street of el Calafate. Would definitely stay here again!

Muy linda vista y tranquilo.
El hotel esta ubicado en la periferia de la ciudad, lo que lo hace muy tranquilo y con una vista del lago Argentino muy bonita. Hace unos años seguramente era uno de los mejores de El Calafate, pero ahora se va notando que requiere de mas mantenimiento. La gente fue muy amable, especialmente Ian en recepción.

Great Customer Service
Clean place,modern, nice view from living room. I would suggest, they should put a mirror in the bedroom as there's only one in the bathroom. I would also like to praise Ian at check in, he was great in providing us with places to visit and eat. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Breakfast was basic coffee and bread, they had some oranges and apples. They don't clean apartments daily and I have to asked twice for toilet paper. Place is near town.

Przyjemny pobyt
Mila obsluga, pokoj przestronny, bardzo cieply, zreszta jak caly budynek. Sniadania w formie bufetu - ser, szynka i slodkie przekaski, platki sniadaniowe, kawa, herbata. Parking wzdluz ulicy. Spokojna okolica. Widok z okna na jezioro. Lokalizacja poza centrum. Polecam.

Abone una sorpresa (tarta de cumpleaños & botella de espumante) para los huespedes a modo de sorpresa de cumpleaños y no lo entregaron a tiempo. Tuve que reclamarlo por varios medios para que lo entregaran antes de que se fueran los huéspedes. Tienen un gran descontrol y desorganización. Prometieron tener un detalle por el error cometido y tampoco cumplieron. Mucho caos y poca coordinación entre los empleados.

Estimada Noelia, lamentamos el inconveniente generado por la falta de información de la guardia de reservas un sábado a la tarde. El inconveniente al que se refiere no fue tal para sus pasajeras ya que la atención fue brindada en tiempo y forma de acuerdo a lo explicado telefónicamente por el Gerente del hotel. Hemos atendido su reclamo siempre con la mejor voluntad de resolver el inconveniente de que sus pasajeras no encontraran la atención colocada en el refrigerio. La saludo cordialmente y nuevamente le pido disculpas por el mal entendido.

Room was ample size, well lit, breakfast provided variety of juices and food. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only downsize was the location - too far from downtown to walk to restaurants and shops

Boa opção!
Boa opção! Hotel fica um pouco distante do centro de El Calafate, mais bem próximo a rodoviária, aparentemente uma região que estão surgindo novos empreendimentos hoteleiros. Se estiver de carro é bem tranquilo. De táxi custará 100 pesos no máximo até o centro. O hotel é novo, bonito, com uma bela vista do lado argentino. Quarto confortável, espaçoso, com Tv a cabo e frigobar. Ótimo atendimento pelo staff do hotel. Café da manhã pode melhorar. Bom sinal de Wi-Fi. Recomendo.

Did the trick.
We walked here from the bus station (13 min) - if you have rolling luggage it should be durable as this is on a dirt road. Easy parking out front, standard breakfast, not a bad location for walking around this small town.

Poor service, not great location. Poor value.
Not a great place. Our room was quite cold and the radiator didn't work. After notifying the staff about this 2 times they looked at it but couldn't fix it themselves as they didn't have the right tool. So we had a very cold first night until they fixed after a third notification from us the day after. Nobody at the hotel speaks a word English which obviously could be a problem. The hotel is also a bit off and up a steep hill, not terrible but not ideal. Breakfast only consists of sweet stuff.

I arrived at the hotel to find it all closed up and no one to be found. I had a reservation confirmed by wotif on itinerary no 721595860299 for 11 Oct -14 Oct. After 30 mins of looking around and finding no one and curtains drawn (I arrived at 1pm) I found someone who told me he thought the hotel was going through some renovations. Angrily i got a taxi to the town and checked into Kosten Aike Hotel (and paid an extra $160 USD for that stay). Am I annoyed....sure am. I could not contact wotif by email as your website only contact by phone to NZ. Expensive and I only operate my mobile using wifi. I had to contact a friend of mine who made contact with wotif NZ to request a refund to my account. I have received no email contact from wotif. No apology and I guess the extra money I paid for the new hotel wont be given. In all a bad experience in El Calafate. Till now Sat 15 October I have received no refund. I expect wotif to get this to me ASAP

Perdendo oportunidades
A localização não é muito boa para quem anda a pé, pois fica no alto de uma colina. de táxi vai bem. Tem uma vista maravilhosa do Lago Argentina e dos cumes gelados das montanhas. E por estar bem alto, pega muito vento. E para piorar a calefação de nenhum quarto funciona, apesar de ter feito três reclamações, não foi resolvido o problema, nas áreas comuns do hotel funcionava bem. O termo café da manhã continental é um exagero. O prédio, os quartos e as áreas comuns são de muito bom gosto e bem limpo. Resumo, tem condições se ser muito melhor do que é.

Que peor que llegar a descansar y que tengas de musica de fondo rock o reggae!! La ubicación es pésima porque el camino es de tierra y apartado del centro, sin auto es una odisea subir esas calles. Se escucha el ruido que hacen los pasajeros de la habitación de al lado, las chapas de las puertas son con llave y las chapas son atiquísimas!! La TV es antigua con forma de cajon (no plana). El vaso para lavarse los dientes es de plumavit!! El radiador hacía ruidos de goteo, el closet muy antiguo y la por ende la puerta pesaba mucho. Por ultimo, no tenían terminal para pagar en la recepción... me mandaron a otro hotel!!! Lo venden como si tuviera Wi Fi y no es así, mi estadía fue de 3 días y sólo la primera noche pudimos conectarnos y mas encima intermitentemente, le pedí que lo arreglaran y me dijeron simplemente que no podían. No lo recomiendo para nada!

O Hotel é razoável, mas o quarto possui carpete, com uma pequena janela e, no chuveiro tem uma toalha de plastico ao invés de box. O café da manhã deixa a desejar, com poucas opções.. É um pouco distante do centro e a rua é sem asfalto. Não possui ar condicionado, o quê gera um desconforto se estiver com calor (só possui calefação). Preço alto para o padrão, mas percebi que em El Calafate tudo é mais caro. Gostaria de registrar que o Adolfo, gerente do Hotel, é uma excelente pessoa, prestativo e atencioso.
