"This is the best place to stay after busy and loud crowds of the city. Alfonso is the most gracious of hosts and has built a beautiful home with six guest rooms that each have their own bathrooms, all situated around an inner courtyard. "My initial impression was dubious but on entering the building I was amazed at the beautiful and unique layout of the property. Although my bedroom (#4) was rather small, I was impressed by the high quality of the decorations. The shower facility was of a high standard. The rooftop terrace has been refurbished into a “chill out” area giving wonderful 360 degree views of the surroundings including a view of the distant castle. This area is conducive to getting to know your fellow guests late...

"After spending 10 days traveling around Andalusia, we wanted to end our trip in a special way. The Parador in Arcos de la Frontera did not disappoint! This is a lovely hotel with great views from our balcony. Even the taxi ride up to the property was memorable to say the least! We visited the nearby cathedral and climbed the bell tower which were both worthwhile and caught a lovely sunset from our room. I would highly recommend it!"
