โIt was a unique hotel experience because of the railroad station setting and its careful architectural restoration. So many beautiful things to see and marvel at, always a feast for the eyes - wonderful preservation of the steam train era in early to mid 20th century history. Every member of the staff we had contact with was not only friendly and helpful, but also reflected appreciation of this unique environment.โ
โAbby at the front desk and Raydn in the lounge/restaurant are super. Both ladies are super sweet and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good. โ
โStaff responded quickly when we requested additional laundry and when I had issues with TV operation and problem with key. Battery on tv remote and key access has to be changedโ
โMy husband and I were on our honeymoon. And with the hurricane we couldnโt go to our original destination. So we just randomly picked a hotel. We picked it because of the Mountain View and we are so happy we did. The staff were very nice. It was quiet and safe. Everything worked properly. There is a back patio with a fire on it at night. It was very beautiful. Many different places to eat and shop very close by. We didnโt want to leave!!โ
โI am passing through and found this facility to stay the night. Great location right off the interstate. The fellow who checked me in accommodated me with a quiet room and followed up with an email to assure that the room was in good order. โ
โThe hotel is very nice and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Weโve stayed twice. The parking is marked but can be tricky to find at night.โ
โThe gentleman at the front desk was kind and professional, and was able to answer all of my questions. I liked that I could walk to a nearby Italian restaurant. The facilities really need an update. The gym is pretty sad, and the lightest dumbbell is 15 pounds. My room, although clean, smells like a wet ashtray. The body wash was empty.โ
