"I'm not sure why the reviews on this place were so harsh. I only stayed in one room for one night, so I can only go by that. The staff was great. Easy to work with, fantastic conversation. The room was quite reasonable. Interesting layout; all the essential things were clean. The lampshade needs dusting, and the room had that sun-beating-in-it-all-day-without-an-air-conditioner stale smell when I first arrived. Opening the window and turning on the AC helped. Otherwise, a very comfortable stay. Definitely recommended if you need a place for an overnight, maybe solo or with a partner. Easy parking, easy location, so much more affordable than the chain hotels. You could check in after 10 pm, which can be a struggle with some smaller Canadian places. Much appreciated."

"The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The coffee in the lobby was not very good. The exterior needs to be tidied up, even just weeding the flower beds at the front would give a much better first impression. The staff were super...very friendly and helpful."
