The room is small but comfortable, very cozy bed and really nice staff. Bathroom is decent sized with everything you need. The facilities are old but okay. WiFi is really good. However I do find the sheets and towels to be slightly dirty, so be cautious if you are sensitive. In general, good stay for a quick night during road trip

It’s conveniently located, close to several cafes and restaurants. It had reasonable rates, and the room was very clean. There were enough free parking spots. The owners are a wonderful couple, extremely courteous and friendly. They were very helpful in pointing out things to do while in town. Great experience and will stay here again next time we visit.

This is a throwback to the 60s. Original, not updated. So it was fun to stay, and it was a great value for a place to stay. Not everyone will like it. The owners were really sweet. We only needed a place to sleep and shower. Though the hot water was iffy. A great nostalgic 50s dinner was close by. If you like that kind of thing.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. The refrigerator had a great freezer to freeze water bottles for the next day. We had a little trouble with the hot water control in the shower, but we survived.

Parking was easy with a trailer not in the lot but out front. Staff was so nice a friendly/helpful. Bed was comfortable room was clean but they were having a challenge with a water line. My toilet stopped flushing in the middle of the night I am assuming it had to do with the pipe problem. I would stay again.

This is an older motel, but it was clean and comfortable. As with many older places, the biggest problem was finding electrical outlets to plug in phones etc . The property was close to the center of Cle Elum and a 25 minute drive from Ellensburg, so it was a convenient stay for us. No frills, but clean and adequate. Note that the train tracks are nearby, but didn't wake us up.

While the owners were quite nice and pleasant, the room was not what was expected. The bed was nice and clean but otherwise the room was old and outdated. The light fixture was from the 80's or 90's as was the wallpaper border up near the ceiling. The shower had multiple spots with black mold. The hand towels looked like they came from their bathroom, they were a faded rust color. The others were white. Typically hotels use all white towels so they can be bleached clean. These ones we didnt dare use, yuk. They provided shampoo, soap and conditioner but they were all mismatched like things they collected on their own travels. The final straw was the all night overflowing gutters outside of the whole motel! All gutters were loudly overflowing onto the hoods of all of the parked cars! So obnoxiously loud all night! I understand that this is a budget motel, but it was the only thing available at that time. We booked a few weeks out I believe. While this type of stay might be good for a weary traveler stopping to find a place at the last minute, it is NOT what I would have expected from my Expedia experience. It doesn't seem like a place that Expedia would endorse on their site.

They still use old-fashioned room keys there, but the property is very well kept there’s even space there for barbecue and sitting around outside which is nice. The rooms are efficient nothing fancy but there’s a microwave and the bathroom is well-maintained and clean and little amenities that they view to use in the shower the beds were fresh linen. I would stay there again. It’s very quiet and a great stopping place. If you’re going to or coming back from the Gorge in that area, the only thing I could complain about was there was no tissues in the room and I don’t like to blow my nose in toilet paper lol

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The beds were extremely uncomfortable and there was no hot water. I was later told by someone else who used to live in this hotel that you have to wait at least 30 minutes with the water running for the water to even start to get warm because they have a cistern hot water system. The hotel itself is clean they have good parking and they are cheap. If you were in a pinch and need a roof over your head it's a last resort but I do not recommend it if you need to get clean or if you want a good night's sleep.

For the price, I really wasn't expecting a lot but I was very pleasantly surprised. I got a nice clean room at a very reasonable price. I was perfectly satisfied with it. I didn't check to see what (if any) amenities they offered as we arrived late at night and had to leave at 6am. It was literally just a place to sleep, and for that it was great. The bed was slightly more comfortable than the typical hotel slabs of granite most places make you sleep on. I would stay there again if passing through Cle Elum.
