Lovely hotel with superb grounds and wonderful views, especially westwards over the lough. Helpful, efficient and well-dressed staff. Excellent food in the Rockfield restaurant, both for evening meals and breakfast with a good choice on each menu. Would stay again.

From I arrived everything was lovely . Reception staff were very welcoming and throughout my brief stay everyone was very helpful. My room was beautiful and very clean with a lovely view over the fountains. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a time to relax

The hotel is lovely have stayed many times couldn’t get room 412 cause it wasn’t available. We had a executive twin which was lovely two large double beds room 404. The fountain is outside the window and but if there is a wedding in the function room down stairs or the quests were outside it could be noisy. Lovely dressing gown and slippers in a grey colour are great. Having a fridge in the room was handy, and fan was great. Breakfast was brilliant nice that everything was brought to your table and no one touching the food. Staff are so helpful . Xx

I had an average overall experience l. The hotel interior is great, the customer service was pleasant but just ok and my room was a disappointment as it had the wirr of the kitchen fans going for the bulk of my stay and no view at all. If booking through a third party it seems to be a norm you could have a room experience like mine. If you want a great room ensure you pay for the view.

We enjoyed many aspects of our stay at the Manor House Country Hotel. The building and location are lovely, and the hotel has a great deal of character. Our room was very comfortable and generally clean, and the lounges are particularly nice places to relax. Unfortunately, the shower had some mould, which was disappointing and could have been addressed with better attention to detail. The main issue for us was the restaurant service, both at breakfast and in the evening. On several occasions we were left sitting for long periods without being served, and staff could sometimes be difficult to find. We also felt that staff were often reluctant to engage with customers unless prompted, which detracted from the experience. Breakfast was a little disappointing too. Some of the food appeared to have been sitting for a while, with cold bacon, watery eggs and burnt toast during our stay. Overall, this is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with the potential to offer a fantastic experience. With improved staff training, more attentive service and greater attention to the smaller details, it could be excellent. We enjoyed our stay overall, but these issues did let down what otherwise could have been a really memorable visit.
