“Excellent property. Great combination of modern amenities with an authentic local feel. Took advantage of the one hour River Boat activity for €30. Best value ever.”

“The setting is stunning, the staff are so kind and helpful, the property is clean and well-maintained. It was so nice I stayed another night. Absolutely worth the stay!”

“We were looking forward to staying at this property but it turned out to be a disappointment. All of the staff is young and lacks professionalism and knowledge. They have a spa and two pools, but at check in the staff does not tell you about any of the amenities. We didn’t know there was an outdoor pool until the day before we left when we stumbled across it. The room and bathroom were clean, but sparse with poor lighting. The bed is very uncomfortable. “Hotel precioso y tranquilo en un entorno fantástico. Restaurante espectacular. Personal muy amable. Algunos servicios podrían mejorar.”

“This place is absolutely paradise”

“Lovely hotel but we were too busy touring to enjoy the hotel's amenities. Would like to have stayed longer. Close to downtown and easily walkable.”

“This inn is WONDERFUL. Christiano's attention to detail, ensuring the stay is perfect in every way, is unparalleled. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice, warm, and attentive. Food - breakfast and dinner - is fantastic to eat and elegantly served. Common space is beautiful and cozy. Pool area is lovely, with...

“O lugar é surpreendente! Vista de tirar o fôlego, quarto impecável, o Jorge foi muito solícito. Nao pretendia voltar ao Douro, mas agora vou repensar. Parabéns!!”

“It was great!! Staffs are all great, and the place is wonderful. Google map showed uw at the top of the moutain... that was hard to find. anyways, Thanks a lot.”

“Excellent service from all of the staff. Clean and well appointed room. Balcony with fantastic views. Excellent, quiet, peaceful, beautiful location. Nice outdoor pool, deck and loungers with great views in all directions. Very good restaurant for breakfast; fantastic evening meal. Well-stocked bar.”

“Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast was very well served. Very good for traveling as a couple! The only downsides were the lack of pool towels and the external lights and noise, especially from the automatic air conditioning at night.”
