"A wonderful (actual!!) bed & breakfast experience in a beautiful classic San Francisco setting. Just a handful of rooms divided between two creamy yellow homes with a gorgeous courtyard (which leads to a lush secret garden setting in the back), Parker Guest House provides a unique experience, focused on a good guest experience. Helpful staff from the moment of check-in lead you to rooms that have sparkling clean up-to-date bathrooms (that still feel in keeping with the character of the property). The staff hosts ample breakfasts each morning in the main house, and wine get-togethers in the evening to give the guests a chance to mingle. It never feels like a cold, corporate setting, you feel like a guest. Dolores Park is about half a block away, you are surrounded by cafes and eateries, and friendly people all around. Easy to get to/from (walking distance to the Castro), it is a fairly tranquil experience that I look forward to experiencing again whenever I travel to San Francisco. The light rail runs down Church street for extra convenience, but if you are a light sleeper, you may need ear plugs the first night. All in all... LOVED this place."

"We could’ve used a microwave in the room. Also parking price was not clear, it is available at about $74 a day. Convenient if you need a handicap or disabled person staying in the area. Great location for walking."
