“This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. ”

This place is perfect for a peaceful and quiet getaway. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We even got some coconuts cut for us. “We were in a bit of shock when we reached Cocomar. The pictures must have been taken years back as the rooms were rather worn out. We had to pay extra to upgrade to a suite because our original room was tiny and rather depressing. The room was smelly - probably not aired out enough. Beds in the suite were good size but squeaky and one had a whole under the mattress fixed with a cardboard. Breakfast is part of the deal, however, it’s basically the same food (a plate with rice, beans, scrambled...
