"A nice “retro” hotel with easy access to the beach. The Tiki Bar was straight out of the early sixties - the only tell was the modern music they played. The beach was great, but we were there immediately after a hurricane passed through, so the water was turbid and there was loads of seaweed along the high-water mark. It reminded me of a natural and unassuming shoreline from Florida’s past."

"This is the absolute best Best Western we have ever stayed at! The staff is awesome, rooms are clean and beautiful, amazing ocean views, wonderful location, perfect in every way. We had an amazing weekend!"

"Great view of the Gulf, nice beach, chair/umbrella rental and a great Italian Restaurant. The only thing I could’ve done without was one of their beach bars starts playing at 9:30am and could’ve lowered the volume till 11:00am."

"Balcony with beach view was super nice. Kitchen with full range, oven, dishwasher, and microwave was very well appointed. Only minuses were a lack of usb charging, and tv apps were a little weak with no you tube or custom installable apps. Complex could use a fitness room. Most other things you need are within walking distance."

Matanzas Inn Bayside Resort and Marina

"I love Matanza. It's in a great location, walking distance to everything. I enjoyed sitting on the canal/bay and seeing all the wildlife, especially Manatee! We stayed in the 2 bedroom and it was perfect!"
