“The accommodation was clean and the bed was comfortable, although the property itself is a little tired and could benefit from some updating. I stayed in 'William', which is quite small. Barbara kindly offered me a complimentary upgrade to a much larger room downstairs, but I chose to stay where I was as being able to sleep with the windows open is important to me. “Rooms are old and have been lived. A lot of rust, broken furniture, bathrooms need a remodel. Hot water yes, very hot, cold water was hard to get as the shower was stuck on hot, almost burned myself. All in all heavily lived. Shops are close, free parking for up to 3 cars. Full kitchen with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer. But again heavily lived. Free WiFi. Beds are not that great. Good for a night or two maximum.”

“Beautiful pub with rooms. High quality, well designed and appointed rooms. Very comfortable stay. Shower was awesome! Will definitely be back”

Like many have said, pool and gym pictures do not exist at the property, they are in a leisure centre down the road. We booked a family room that was...

“Worked well, cheapest place by far in the area and room was quite nice. Staff were very friendly”

“There was no sign of the hotel name. Difficult to find the hotel. Shared toilets and shower.”

Due to some internet issues and a delayed flight, completing the booking proved extremely difficult, but the staff was extremely patient, understanding and accommodating. Another plus is its proximity to Heathrow, I was able to get there in a few short minutes. Now, the not-so-good: the room did not look as advertised. It was sorely in need of updating. The bed was comfortable enough and warm but small. While I appreciated the private bathroom,...
