"The hotel is lovely and the staff are great. The problem was it’s advertised as The Corso Hotel & Spa - when there is no spa. It is being renovated and we were not told it’s closed for now. This was a significant reason why we booked the hotel. "

"The pros - welcoming staff, amazing views from the roof terrace, decent bedroom with lovely bedding, great shower and an outstanding breakfast with no charge for barista coffee! The cons - very limited parking though you can park at a nearby hotel for free, the food offering on the roof terrace is pretty limited and not great in complete contrast to the breakfast. Biggest issue for us was the road noise. We had a sea/harbour view room and even with the patio doors firmly clothe traffic noise was relentless through late at night to early morning. We had a balcony but never used it for that reason. Also there were no tea/coffee making facilities but they did bring me a kettle when I enquired."
