"I’m not sure why this resort has such poor reviews. First thing to note, the hotels.com map shows that the hotel is in the centre of Favignana town. This isn’t the case. It’s some kilometres away on the other side of the island. €16 in a taxi. The resort was built in the 70s but has obviously had a fairly extensive refurb in recent years. The gardens are immaculate, maintenance is good and the furniture etc is always positioned uniformly. The employees are really wonderful! Everyone was...
