“Air conditioning, staff were nice”

“Clean, modern rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant staff. No secure parking for motorcycles although the manager did try to organise a solution. We did , unfortunately pick a stay when a function was on and the noise from the guests below (around the stairwell) was loud. Some you win, some you lose!”

“Das Zimmer und Haus waren sehr sauber, der Hausherr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist gut für Unternehmungen in Edinburgh, Parkplatz war während unseres Aufenthaltes vorhanden. Minuspunkte gebe ich weil die Matratze fpr mich zu hart war, kein normaler Kopfpolster sondern ein flaches Kissen das .Irgendwann Nackenschmerzen bescherte. Der Boden, ja ich weiß ist alt, aber knirscht bei jedem Schritt, extrem im Badezimmer und sogar in der Dusche. Das Badezimmer ist extrem klein, ich sag mal...

“We loved our time at Carberry Tower! The estate was stunning and the staff were very helpful. We walked in the gardens and the woods behind the estate - breathtaking! Our dinner and breakfast were delicious. I only wish we had arrived soon enough for the high tea which looked perfect. This will be a favourite memory from our European vacation! “エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。”

“I didn't realize when I booked the hotel it was a refurbished boat. It was very cool. The staff was so very helpful in visiting the city and with directions. I enjoyed speaking with Gordon, Brian, Matt and Daniel. Matt advised me to take the tram to the airport and it was a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel as it is unique.”

“Lovely restored house in a neighborhood (more like a B&B). There is a bus that runs into Edinburgh proper or you can take the mile walk. The hotel gives very good recommendations for local dining. Parking can be difficult (limited on-street parking for non-residents). No eating in the rooms.”
