โEasy to access, bustop right outside. It took 25 min to Edinburgh by bus. Our room (with private bathroom) was clean and nice. It was kind of thin walls though, we could all hear each other. We were only there for 3 nights, but we would recommend it! โ
โMy main concern was that the HVAC system was not working well. We were in a bit of a heat wave and the AC was not working very well. Both the quantity & quality of air.
Love that the train station was literally across the street.โ
โThis guest is a really lovely place to stay, 20 minute walk from Wavery train station, plenty of places to eat 5-10 mins walk away. The building itself is stunning and the continental breakfast is a bonus we werenโt expecting!โ
โPrestonfield House is like an oasis in central Edinburgh. It is a beautifully maintained period house with nice grounds. The staff were excellent. I had a party of Thai friends for dinner and they loved both the atmosphere and the dinner itself. โ
โBrilliant staff - the lady on reception was outstanding, the room beautifully presented and and a fantastic bathroom and high quality bed. It was sincere and lovely representing Edinburgh perfectlyโ
โKelly and Kevin were both very welcoming and helpful and kind and funny. They gave us many helpful tips and their guidance greatly improved our experience. The breakfast was delicious and our room was lovely. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ceilidh-donia.โ
โLoved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.โ
โIf you cross a mountain road following Google you will be challenged for another hill. Staffs are very kind and especially I miss Arturo so much! You can try the bar to enjoy the home of whiskey. Breakfast was fantastic as well. โ
โGreat stay!! I arrived early but was able to drop off my luggage. Lukas met me at reception and was very kind and clear with instructions. Beautiful room, no issues whatsoever. The room faced a relatively busy street but I didn't find it noisy at all. Although there is no on-site breakfast, they are kind enough to provide a kitchen area with some basics like bread, cereal and fruit for anyone who wants along with some discount coupons for nearby cafes. Also it's right by a bus stop so easy to...
"The location and view were truly excellent. Major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Right after check-in, we found that the bathroom sink was clogged, but it was promptly repaired. The breakfast was also outstanding. One downside was that noise insulation both inside and outside the hotel could have been better. Overall, itโs a very good place to stay in Edinburgh.

"It's a good hotel. Above all, the location is the best. The facilities and hygiene are also good. However, the shower room drainage facility is inadequate."
