We had such a wonderful stay at The Scholar. Gorgeous view of Arthur’s Seat from our room, comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful. This was our third stay here at The Scholar. Definitely will be back.

A very convenient place to stay to attend a conference at the John McIntyre Conference Centre, The University of Edinburgh, just 2-minute walk. Short walk to the bus stop as well. We had an excellent stay for a few nights & lovely meals at the restaurant. Very helpful & friendly staff.
