Halfway between the science department and Edinburgh centre. Bus stop right outside meant it was easy to get around and leave the car in the car park. Lovely breakfast with enormous croissants. Would stay again.

The lack of air conditioning forced us to open windows, and the area around the hotel had students walking and talking after hours waking us up from sleep. The area around the hotel was very beautiful and relaxing for us.

Everything is pretty good except that the location is so hard to find because there is no big entrance. The water faucet has to switches for hot and cold water which is not very convenient. Otherwise, this place is great.

\the staff were universally helpful, especially at breakfast. the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was good. I did not find the restaurant for other meals suited my taste but that is an individual matter. There were not enough vegetables for my liking. My first room was hard for me to navigate but I was moved to a very satisfactory one. The car park and the lift were selling points for me initially but I have become comfortable there, so will be back, barring accidents.

The room was very clean, we were very comfortable. It was a wonderful surprise to get a lovely gift of Prosecco and biscuits for our 38th wedding anniversary, we really appreciate it . The staff were all wonderful and helpful especially Hannah the restaurant manager, who was so helpful and lovely at breakfast.. breakfast was great, they were very accommodating with what we wanted. We had a lovely meal at The Abacus, the staff was very nice, didn’t caught the manager name, but he was very helpful and patient. Bonus there was Ev charging too.
