Grand Superior Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean and great for our needs. Pool and hot tub were welcome gems! Activities for kids were abundant and the onsite restaurant was good. Views of Lake Superior were anmazing! My only note is they don’t have shampoo/conditioner/body wash like many other hotels in this price range do these days (mounted bottles of each). They had a small sample of a 2 in 1 and a bar of body wash - we did have to buy this stuff nearby to have them so I recommend you pack them. Otherwise 10/10 stay!"

"I think this is a phenomenal Hotel. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the coffee. I wasn't expecting Starbucks but it was the most disgusting coffee you could ever put in your mouth. I tried it two days in a row and ended up getting coffee elsewhere. Aside from that it is a wonderful place today!"

"The room was amazing, everything as advertised. Check is wasn't ready at 4, so I had to wait 10-15 minutes. Beyond that, everything was perfect. The staff was great, service at the restaurant was wonderful, the walleye was amazing. I would stay here again, the view and rooms are exactly what you're looking for."

"Washburn Inn is an older hotel set on lake Superior with a beautiful view of the Bay, the rooms are sufficient for sleep and showers and they serve coffee in the check in area. There is a nice Superclub across the parking lot and everything is close by to visit."
