"We loved our stay at Blue Flamingo. The rooms were very clean and we loved the decorations and overall theme and feeling of the resort. There were two pools and lots of things to do like ping pong, a pool table, and a shuttle to take you into town. We had a problem with our air conditioning not working the last night there, but the staff was very understanding a refunded part of our resort fee. The elevators could use a little maintenance as one of them squeaked the entire time going up and down and the other wasn’t working part of our time there. We loved that we could catch a shuttle down to about a block off Duval street. You do have to go to the front desk and tell them which time slot you want and get a ticket to make sure they have room, but the ride back you can catch any one. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. "

"We stayed there for my sisters wedding. First, I'd like to say that the front desk staff was very kind, and helpful whenever I needed something. I also appreciated the free water! We booked the Pool view suite, which was nice. The room itself was clean & spacious, which was nice. I really enjoyed Robbie's service at the Chicken Walk. The food was good as well. I also really enjoyed the resturant on property! Great cocktails (shouout Paulina & George), Great food, and live entertainment. (Shouout Nina) I will say that the layout of the buildings is a bit confusing. The entirety of wedding party had a difficult time getting acclimated to it. Really, my main qualm with this property was the completely lack of house keeping. We stayed there for 4 nights, and didnt get turn down service not once. Also, there were no phones in the rooms either, which made requesting turn down service somewhat of a pain. Apparently, we had to pay for turn down service, which is a bummer considering the price of the stay. 3-nights, $1600...Not a single made bed, or trash receptical emptied. Other than that, the stay was...pleasant."

"I have spent several trips at property and it is a hidden gem amongst a commercial and mobile home neighborhood. They provide a shuttle into city that works for clients seeking dinner, offshore daily trips etc. Pools are nicely built each on backside of building, quiet, comfortable and surrounding a beautiful marina. There is a nice walkway along ocean on east side. The only issue I dealt with this time was condition of my room. 1st floor unit overlooking middle pool and marina. The carpet had a 6”x 6” wear hole, the window curtains were stained in several areas and bathroom plumbing was a challenge. Place seems, since my first visit, to be in need of upgrade and maintenance. Great staff all around, keep eye on tips for eatery it includes 18%? I usually leave 20% or more?"

"Very good place to stay for a big family, but they have no beach . Ocean is not so good. It’s impossible to swim."
