We only stay one night, the staff was very helpful and recommended us the best places of Florence, it was close to everything, a little noise at night and morning because is in a very centric or tourist area but we love it.

Room and bathroom feels clean. Location is prime, just a minute walk from the Duomo Cathedral but also the reason the church bell sounded quite loud. The room we booked has a private bathroom separated from the bedroom so it’s a little inconvenient but manageable for a one night stay. Be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs with your luggage.

Great location - literally in the centre of Florence! Very comprehensive instructions provided re check in and location. Daily housekeeping was also appreciated. We had a family room overlooking the street and it was quite noisy at times. The beds also weren’t very comfortable - some of the mattresses could do with replacing. Some minor maintenance issues were also noticed (e.g bathroom door sticking).

Location is a 10. Room is basic, clean, good shower pressure and air conditioning works well. If you are staying for a short visit, would highly recommend storing luggage nearby and bring what you need up to room. No elevator and three flights to check in point. So perfect location, basic and clean accommodation, but heavy luggage the challenge.

The location is excellent. The gentleman working the front desk went out of our way to be helpful and even make us dinner reservations. There is AC which was really important for summer. We had a family room which in a hotel built in the 1800s is pretty simplified, but being in your room is probably not why most people visit Florence. There are operable windows to overlook the charming walking street. I recommend this place.

Fantastic location around the corner from the iconic Duomo. Clean, spacious accommodation and helpful staff. 10:30am check out was early for us, but we were able to store our luggage at the desk. Short walk to the train station, doable with luggage.

The location of the hotel was wonderful, a block from the Duomo and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. It would be a challenge if you travel with large heavy luggage as there is no elevator and the reception is up two flights of stairs, but this was not a factor for us. The staff was helpful with keeping our bags for a couple of hours after we checked out.

Nothing nice about the hotel, old and outdated, but it's clean and the location is great and convenience, walk right out into the Piazza del Duomo, with many restaurants, cafes and shops. It looked like a private apartment building converted to a hotel so the layout is like going into an old apartment building with no elevator. Be prepared to climb at least two flights up to the main office. There are no amenities, not even a water bottle, just the basic room I booked. Took us a while to find it as there are no hotel or B&B signs easily visible, just a small plate by the door, so walk up close to each building door for the main entrance.

It was at a great location and housekeeping cleaned every day. The bed sheets were not changed however. The washroom is separate from the room which was inconvenient. But it was great for the location and price.
