This was truly a boutique hotel. I was traveling alone and needed a room for only one day before my flight home. The hotel was in a great location and was convenient to everything. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and lovely linens. While there was no bottled water in the room, the hotel offered it in the reception area along with complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks. My arrival was somewhat challenging for a few reasons worth mentioning. I was unaware that the hotel started on the third floor of a shared building. The street entrance was not well-marked, and I was not sure which intercom button to press for access. The hotel did not have porters, and the single elevator began on the second floor. To reach the second floor, I had to get two heavy suitcases, a large tote, a shopping bag, and a purse up 30 stairs and back down again. I think it would be very helpful to future guests if this information would be made clearer on booking sites. The receptionist ordered my early morning taxi and have me all the pertinent contact information.

Location and size great, not soundproof

Great location less than 5 minutes from the Doumo and large spacious rooms with high ceilings and a nice bathroom. Unfortunately, only a wooden door separated us from the guests in the next room and we were awoken by their conversations (and could hear every word) early in the morning.

The only difficulty with this property is the necessity to climb a flight of stairs to get to a lift. The front desk staff are amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and large enough. This hotel had the best A/C of all the properties we stayed over the course of a two week trip.

Great hotel near the Duomo and in a great central location for walking to everything you'd want to see in Florence! The only reason I gave the 4 stars was because of the noise that came from both proximity to the Duomo (less of a factor) and the noise that partygoers made until 4:00 a.m. some night (the larger factor by far). That said, it wasn't noisy every night, and it's part and parcel with staying in auch a centeal location. Shopping, restaurants, and gorcery stores were all single-digit minutes away on foot, and the staff was able to help us find everythi g we wanted to do. Don't miss their rooftop terrace as a nice place to chill out after a hectic day of activities!
