"Beautiful property set in a lush tropical surrounding. The property also has a walking path set amongst trees and a small stream. Beautiful mountain views and amazing mornings, awakening to the sounds of all manner of birds, frogs and other animals. Excellent buffet breakfast with a wide variety of hot and cold food and drink options. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very lovely property!"

"The rocking chairs on the porch are a nice touch. The view of the Arenal Volcano is tremendous. The gardens are well maintained. The hot springs are enjoyable. There is a hot pool next to the pool bar is fun. There was an exciting dance show. Ext to the oool on Saturday night. The excursion cans picked us up at the hotel lobby."

"This is not a place to go. The staff is not responsive and seems uninterested in customer service. We had a bat in the room that started flying around and they sent someone with a pool cleaner and iphone for a light. We asked to change rooms and it took negotiation to get approval Then in the new room there was no hot water, the front desk said they forgot to turn in on when we moved rooms. There is a single pool, very small and focused on swim-up bar. They are updating and reconstructing rooms on the property which leaves a bit of debris all over This would be 3 star at most and certainly not worthy of a stay"

"This resort is amazing! We loved the hot springs and pool. All the food options were delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Shout out to David who was always available and ready to for any question or request. The rooms are comfortable, clean and you have a great view of the volcano mountaintop. Highly recommended, the kids are already asking when can they come back."

"Had an amazing stay here. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, very comfy with comfy bed and pillows, I wanted to take them home. Found the main restaurant to be a little stuck up, food was fabulous though. We much preferred the pool side dinner and lunch atmosphere. We used the hot pools on the property and decided to go check out the off site pools, we did not enjoy those, the experience at the hotel was much nicer. Highly recommend a day trip to Tabacon only a few minutes drive away. Overall this hotel was amazing and value for money. Book here."

"Pictures truly don’t do this place justice. Everything felt bigger and more impressive in person. Our Vista Grande Double Room was incredibly spacious, and the view of Arenal Volcano was absolutely stunning. The resort feels tucked away, private, and peaceful while still offering every comfort. Unlike many resorts, the property feels new, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. The staff were amazing throughout our stay—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurants were excellent, and the complimentary coffee was some of the best we’ve had. The morning buffet was a perfect way to start each day. One of the highlights of our trip was the Club Rio excursions. They were convenient, well organized, and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the ATV tour, night walk, and river tubing, all of which added to an unforgettable Costa Rica experience. We hated to leave and would return without hesitation. Photos simply can’t capture how beautiful and expansive the resort feels in person. From the spacious accommodations and breathtaking volcano views to the exceptional service and memorable activities, this resort exceeded our expectations in every way."
