The staff was incredible. Rooms are adequate, clean and have a/c. Pool is nice with great view. Breakfast is excellent, tried everything and all is good. Chairs on balcony but not in room. View from balcony is awesome. Noisy outside at night till midnight as bars are close by. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Beds are nice and firm. Very safe area. Sunning area is small but most people are gone during the day plus hot enough that we spent most of time in pool. We are food and beverage, good bed and good shower people. This hotel suited all our needs. We stayed 9 days.

We had a room with a view of the lake. Great to watch the sun set. Staff was attentive and informative. Nice pool to cool off at the end of the day. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Generally speaking most of the staff was courteous however, most staff did not know their own policies. They had little to no information outside of their establishment and absolutely ridiculous with simple accommodations such as towels. They literally refused to provide extra towels citing it was their policy. This is absolutely a hostel and not a hotel and should never be advertised as a hotel. I personally witnessed the finer desk clerk swindle two foreign guests overpriced transportation to the airport when it’s a set fee from airport to any hotel nearby. Beyond furious and their total arrogance. Their business model seems to be based on the customer serving them and not the other way around. Would never recommend this “HOSTEL” to anyone.

Staff was wonderful very helpful. They know everything about tours. Restaurants, shopping. They are very professional with everything. They book my flight to Guatemala from Flores and print my tickets. I very happy to stay in the hotel.

Located on the shore of lake peten, the hotel has a phenomenal view of the sunset as you lounge in the pool serviced by a swim-up bar. Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. Older facility so expect a few minor frayed edges. Beautiful little town to explore- cozy and safe

A great location and staff
What a wonderful location to base on the island. The only issue yes is the spa/hot tub was cold. But hey - many other things to do on the lake.

Good hotel with a view and pool.
Great little hotel/Hostel right on the lake and within walking distance to anything on the island. It's a small island. My only complaint was I had ants in my room and down near the pool, I'll assume this is normal for most properties on the island.

No nos dieron oportunidad de entrar en el cuarto hasta las 3:00 de la tarde en punto, sineodqu ya estaban listas los dos cuartos que apartamos. En el caso de uno de los cuartos ponene cojines en lugar de almohadas y al solicitarlas se tardaron mucho y solo llevaron una, ya no tenian disponibles mas almohadas. El desayuno muy eficiente y adecuado, increible la rapidez para prepararlos a las 6:15 AM, muy bien.

Just a nice typical hotel. The only problem was my room smelled like sewage. I had the window open and the fan on during the day. But at night the smell built up. A shame really. The hotel is very nice overall.

A short stay at Peten hotel.
Hotel was very nice and clean, they need to improve service, we were misinform on the parking and we got harassed by a cop also one of our rooms was clogged and they never show up to fix it, on the breakfast menu they need more options I know it is free but they can expand the menu and charge for it, the idea is to give more options to the customers my kids were hungry 30 minutes later and I had to stop to buy more food since they did not offer anything else on the hotel. Also I want to mention I asked to exchange money and I was given one price and then they charge me more since I need it so I accept it but not cool at all.

Great location on the island with a beautiful view! I loved that they were pretty much right on the water. The hotel staff member was absolutely wonderful! My Spanish isn’t very good but he was patient with me and we communicated great!

Excelente ubicación y muy cómodo
Muy bien ubicado el Hotel, nuestra habitación muy amplia y cómoda (37) y con vista al Lago. El desayuno muy sabroso. Ls instalaciones muy bonitas. El único inconveniente es que solo tiene escaleras para llegar a las habitaciones, por lo que, puede resultar incómodo para personas con dificultad para subir.

Está ubicado frente a lago Petén y tienes la vista del atardecer hermosa. Puedes quedarte en la piscina y ver toda la puesta al sol. Excelente ubicación.

Los cuartos y las instalaciones son buenas, cómodas. La ubicación es muy buena. El desayuno es excelente. Los baños son pequeños y por lo tanto un poco incómodos.

Had a great stay at Hotel Peten. It’s in a great location, the staff are super nice and helpful. There are many restaurants nearby, and it feels safe. The facilities are good, let’s face it, we are in a remote town of Guatemala, it could be way worse. I would stay here again without question.

Nous avons passé qu'une nuit dans cet hotel, mais honnêtement nous aurions pu rester un peu plus longtemps mais notre programme ne nous le permettait pas... C'est un hotel dans la ville (petite), qui donne néanmoins directement sur le lac (beau couché de soleil!), avec pas mal d'animations autour, restaurants, bars. Notre chambre était spacieuse (la litterie correcte), pas le grand luxe mais OK avec un petit balcon donnant surt le lac. Il y a 1 petite interieure piscine mais ouverte sur l'exterieure avec vue sur le lac et une autre plus petite encore avec un accès au bar (très sympa !). Le restaurant est également coté lac avec une terrasse. Le personnel était plutot aimable.

The property was under construction, the room was disgusting, the shower didn't drain. There are far better options in Flores.

Charmante rustique hotel, notre chambre était petite , l'espace est limitée pour nos deux lits. Les lits etaient confortables, air climatisé, eau chaude. Il ne faut pas avoir le soucis de la perfection, on y voit des fentes au dessus des portes. Belle vue sur le lac Peten. Tres acceptable comme endroit. Super service au restaurant.
