Location and price were what got our booking. What totally spoiled the experience for us was the smell of tobacco smoke throughout the property even though it is supposed to be a completely smoke free facility. Upon leaving the elevator at our floor, we could smell smoke in the hall even though all the rooms were supposed to be non smoking. Our room also smelled of smoke -- not faintly, but substantially. But, as the hallway was also smoky, we knew that getting another room was unlikely to change our predicament. Upon arriving home, we had to wash our clothes and ourselves as the smoke smell was strong enough to permeate our clothing, hair, and even my husband's CPAP mask. When I told the front desk upon check out, I got a shrug and excuses. For my husband and me, this is a deal breaker. We will not be returning.
If you're a smoker and wish to smoke, you can basically ignore all the wording at check out about it being a smoke free facility and shouldn't have to worry about any "cleaning fee." If you're a non-smoker, asthmatic, or have any issue aggravated by tobacco smoke, plan to stay elsewhere.
