"This was an unexpected very good experience. The property is over 100 years old, but well maintained original floors, bathrooms etc... The bed was to soft for our liking, and pillows not the best, but very clean and charming decorations throughout. A nice very large TV. The staff was super nice and helpful -even the owner gave us special attention."

"Afton was a cute stop on our way to the Grand Tetons before heading towards Yellowstone. The hotel was newer and very nice. Its location was right on the Main Street and we discovered a beautiful short hike nearby towards a cold water Geiser. We stopped here because Jackson hole was expensive. It was still an hour further but a pleasant drive. The breakfast was standard for this type of stop. Waffles, sausages and eggs along with oatmeal or cereal choices. Perfectly for a family with kids or not wanting to spend additional money on the road. The pool and spa is small and indoors which we didn’t go into but it is available for those interested. The staff was friendly."

"Just know before you go that there is no air conditioning. Our room was over 80 when we checked in and never got below 75 all night with the window open. A ceiling fan helped a little. Overall it's a cool place, clean, good communication with owners."
