โWhat an excellent country pub. We have a lovely steak meal and used the garden to sit outside and have a drink before retiring to our room. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly.Breakfast was well cooked and very enjoyable.
Our room was lovely and clean but the toilet flush didnโt work as well as it should.
Overall we had lovely meals and a great stay made better by the welcoming friendly and attentive staffโ

โWhat a hidden gem! Have just stayed here for 2 nights as I was working in the area at a festival and Mark the owner from the outset was so helpful with directions/ my late check in and kept me updated with pictures on how to enter the hotel. The room was cozy and did just the job for my 2 night work stay. Also the breakfast and coffeeโฆ top notch!!!โ

โComfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chefโs kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. โ
โA beautiful property set in beautiful surroundings that had every mod con and item you could possibly need! The beds were so comfy and the ensuite shower, well wow! I did not want to get out! The water is so soft and the pressure is far more superior compared to where we live! We visited the beach too for a couple of days, which was amazing, The Trawlerman gets a mention for the best fish n chips weโve had in a long time! We will definitely return to stay as we have family living nearby now!...
