"Room was clean…but smelled musty when we first entered the room….so we had to turn the air conditioner up right away to get the musty smell out of the room. The staff were friendly. Elevators are old and need to be updated. The elevators will not move if more than 6 people are in the elevators at one time."

"Great location. The pool and outdoor area is mostly well kept. The first room we were assigned to was overlooking the pool, which was nice, but the A/C was broken. We were down graded to a room with dirty windows and bathroom that needed many updates. The elevator broke while we were there, so we decided to take the stairs for the rest of our stay. Our room was passed by for cleaning on one day during our stay. We tried to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant, but decided to leave after waiting to be seated for 15 minutes despite the restaurant being empty. "

"The Breakfast is made to order and very good.Great coffee in the lobby and really helpful and truly friendly Managers and staff. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome. Great swimming pool but unheated. The balcony view (2nd floor) up and down Burgundy@ Toulouse was perfect. It A few blocks from everthing you'd want but quiet. Locals live there in the neighborhood and they were so friendly to us. Lots of friendly dogs and a Cockatoo named Iko! Great experience and I can't wait to go back. "

"The hotel is really cute, full of character, and very clean. You can tell it has a lot of history, which adds to the charm. However, there are a couple of important things to keep in mind. If you are assigned a room on the third floor, be aware that the elevator only goes up to the second floor. You will need to carry your luggage up an additional flight of stairs, which was not convenient at all. Also, the parking situation is a serious concern. The lot in front of the hotel does not feel safe—my car was broken into during my stay. On top of that, the police response was extremely slow. They didn’t come to take a report and only called me about six hours later to take a statement over the phone. So overall, while the hotel itself is charming and clean, the lack of elevator access to all floors and the unsafe parking situation are major downsides."

"The hotel was beautiful, clean and very comfortable! The bed was the main reason we chose this hotel over other hotels based on their reviews. Very comfortable! The sleeping area was spacious; the bathroom and hallway were slightly narrow and tight for tall people; they were well stocked; and room service/cleaning was great. The pool was lukewarm and intimate, they had some nice service for snacks, and the food was good. Overall, a great experience. The only complaint was the shower; it took a good 5-10 minutes for the water to warm up before you could shower. "

"It was really nice located, close to everything, nice restaurant on the side of the hotel plus a little convenience store in front of the hotel."

"Some very good features included ample power and USB outlets, robes and slippers with turn-down service, and a very nice and professional housekeeping staff. On the negative side, the TV, while large, had no provision for plugging in an HDMI cable for personal premium streaming content, so it was largely unused. Also, we tried the Criollo restaurant on the premises for breakfast and were treated fairly rudely, since even with the restaurant largely empty, we were seated directly next to the setup station, which had a lot of activity, preventing us from carrying on a normal discussion due to occasional dishes falling and general clatter. Sadly, our displeasure was reflected in our gratuity, which was unfair to the server, but my spouse prevented me from voicing our displeasure aloud, and I had no other recourse. We had no other meals there, preferring to take our business elsewhere. We did visit the carousel bar, but never had any luck getting a seat. The extension bar, while large, had only five chairs at the bar, so one of us had to stand."
