“Really nice staff, bar/lounge area and rooms. Ideal for a night or 2 if you are visiting the local area for sight seeing etc. Shepton mallet high street is about 10-15 minute walk away although it is uphill. Taxis where hard to get although could have just been the time of day on the weekend.”

“We arrived at Hawk house and were greeted by a laminated sign that explained how to check in. We called the number, but there was no response. We called the bell (several times) and eventually a young lady came to check us in. She showed us to our room and was helpful. The room was a twin room (we had booked a double). “Great location for a short walk into Glastonbury. The room was just what we needed for our one night stay. Everything was clean and tidy and with breakfast included we couldn't find a better value location. Dave was also the perfect host.”
