Comfort Double Room - comfortable stay for 4 nights. Location - 10 mins walk with luggage from Hakata Station. Easy access to meeting point for day tours at Hakata Station. Shopping area and convenience store are within the vicinity. Room - was quiet and can hardly hear the traffic noise outside. Water pressure is strong. Bed is comfortable - medium soft. Check-in and check-out are straightforward. Bonus - ReFa brand hairdryer provided in room was awesome with powerful yet quiet airflow. The room is equipped with Attack zero liquid detergent, washing machine and microwave.

Stay in Hakata

The room is clean and the hotel itself is very accessible. Few minutes walk to Hakata Station and nearby Famiily Mart also. They have a friendly and assisting staff.

The hotel room is clean and very maintained. The bed is comfortable. (This time I do not have the back pain in morning as in other hotels we have stayed in this trip.) The breakfast is very good buffet of excellent quality. Although just next to rail with trains passing by, the sound proof is good and the train sound is soft.

The first room they gave my wife and I, we noticed the strong smell of urine. Contacted front desk and they sent up someone to assist. The person said he didn’t smell it, and if it gave us a headache. I said yes, so they swapped us to another room. It didn’t smell of urine but of mildew/mold. We had another group stay in the same hotel and had the smell of mildew/mold in their room as well. The location is great, next to shopping/food/train station! The rooms are not soundproofed, you can hear pretty much everything. The positives are the laundry/dryer in the rooms. I would not stay at this specific hotel. The amenities are usually standard across the hotels, towards the afternoon, they will run out and aren’t replenished.

Huge rooms. Perfect for older adults who wants to stay close to the station, the rooms are spacious, even provide washing machine and ironing board which we don’t need. The free coffee machine is a bonus. Rates are even cheaper on a Saturday night.
