Excellent smallish and stylish hotel, boutique like but not pretentious. Very Helpful, friendly staff. Quiet street but 2 min walk into tourist spots. Rooms were good, gym is a bit tired, downstairs swimming is small but the spa, sauna and rooftop pool and sun area are really great. Excellent Fine dining in restaurant with very good breakfast. Would definitely return.

Everyone on the hotel staff was so nice and made us feel at home. The hotel was beautiful with wonderful views of the city. The pool deck was really nice and relaxing. Our spa services were outstanding!

This was my second time staying at this property and it was fantastic once again. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. I will continue to stay here when I return to Madeira. Love it....and the pool area is pretty special too!

Great hotel and staff

Fantastic hotel in a great location that was close to harbour, shops and restaurants. Located in a quiet road. Lovely, well equipped room and excellent breakfast. New Year’s celebrations were outstanding and we especially enjoyed being able to view the fireworks on the roof garden, with free drinks and food provided. All of this was enhanced by a wonderful staff team. A great stay.

This was our second stay at the hotel, this time with friends, who enjoyed their visit as much as we did. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of food for the vegetarians in the group. The facilities and rooms were excellent. The location is ideal. I'm hoping we'll be able to visit again!

We enjoyed the location of the hotel at the friendly staff at the reception. The food at dinner was not really great and the overall service in the restaurant for breakfast/ dinner as well. The coffe was old and cold when served, or nobody served one for a long time etc

Tasteful refurbishment of an old property. Very friendly management and staff. Excellent breakfast, catering in general first class. We were celebrating our anniversary and when returning after a day out found champagne and chocolates in our room, a lovely touch. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, the breakfast had a great variety and you could even order from a menu and it was included. Rooftop patio was nice. Only one hot tub, so a little crowded. Parking on site and some very close by so not an issue. Staff were great.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Funchal - less than 5 minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and the seafront and under 10 minutes from the old town and cable car station. Yet far enough away from the town hub to be quiet at night. Stunning views of Funchal from rooftop pool area, great spa and good gym facilities. Restaurant in hotel was excellent - breakfast was good - evening meals were superb and competitive with similar standard of restaurants in Funchal. A gem in the heart of Funchal

Fabulous hotel in great location. 100% recommended

Fabulous hotel, great location, friendly, helpful staff. Room was spacious. Only reason rated slightly down on eco friendliness was towels were changed when hung up. Only towels placed on floor required washing.
