โHad a fantastic overnight stay, when we arrived our room that we booked wasnโt ready however we were upgraded to a Hotel suite with the only difference being we wouldnโt have a kitchenette. Check in process was easy, you have to pay ยฃ13.95 for parking at the hotel however we parked round the back where you only get 45mins however as it was a Saturday afternoon was able to park there overnight. We also got a complimentary token for an arrival drink as it was our anniversary which was a really...
โIt's a stylish hotel with a very good design. It's a little away from the square (it's close to the street, but you have to pass through a big road) and the surrounding scenery is not good. The food at the restaurant is not bad. However, the staff are very kind and the room is big and relaxed.โ
โWe didnโt really eat there but they were kind enough to fill our water bottles with ice each morning and night. Internet was fine. Loved having the train station, bus stop and restaurants steps from the front door - perfect location for us. We used the Lounge every night after our walk back from dinner. โ
โLisa and Graham were outstanding hosts. Morven House is a hidden gem, which is hard as its one of the most prominent and historical buildings in Carnoustie. A must stay if you're in the area.โ
โPaid for a suite, got the honeymoon suite. Would have expected a mini fridge and bathrobes, but my problem as I did not check beforehand. situated at the back and side of the hotel, no view, shame as the hotel is in a lovely place. Very warm in the room and windows only slightly open, no fan or air conditioning. Overall a lovely stay thoughโ
โGreat value for money accomodation. Location was amazing. Can be a bit noisy if you are looking out at the square. Very clean . Very comfortable twin beds and lovely shower. Looking around the hostel, it seemed what a hostel should be with different nationalities mingling in the kitchen and TV room. Easy checking in. Loved the place. Would recommend to anyoneโ
โStaff were very friendly and made you very welcome. Food was amazing. Bathroom was a bit small but served the purpose. Bit noisy but right next to railway line - clue in the name of hotel ๐โ
โGreat Hotel, clean, comfortable bed.
Good location. Busy bar at the weekend we there there, but did not disturb the room.
Nice walk along seafront & golf courses near by. โ
โExcellent service by Lucy at check in who sorted out something that could have spoiled our trip to Dundee. Lucy went out of her way to accommodate us land resolved everything to perfection. Thank you Lucy from two very grateful guests.
